Harry - Originally born in Maryland my family wanted to help me walk with a tilt, so they loaded up the car and moved to West Virginia.  I have been playing drums since I was 11 years old.  Originally I used to play on my father’s footstool.  After the third time of replacing the cover, my parents bought me a set of Slingerlands drums. I bet they wished they would have given me the Footstool instead. Since that time I have owned  Ludwig, Pearl and now Yamaha.

My favorite past time is spending time with my family.  My hobbies consist of riding quads (ATV) being outdoors.  My musical likes are to many to list.  I enjoy playing and listening to just about every type of music there is.  I like to listen to a type of music and see if I can incorporate that feel into another style of music.  I feel the best drum solo is silence.  Too many drummers like to put too much in to a song.  Songs were meant to be an expression of something - let the music breathe.

My first jam was a Zeppelin, Yes, AC/DC, Santana kind of band back in the late 70s and early 80s.  Then I started playing with a variety bands from Winchester.  One was called Frank Lowe and the Southern Country band.

From there I went into the military where I was stationed with the 249th Army Band. When I was ready to come home I started playing in band called T&M Express, which was also located in Winchester.   After a long friendship building time - I decided to take a much needed break.  I worked with a trio in Middleburg called FOXFIRE now called the FOG.  The next project was a mostly original based band called Phantom Jay Band - Just good down home classic rock with originals tossed into the mix.  And now "Flashpoint" is group of musicians and close friends who have the same ambitions when it comes to playing music - have a great time while, providing some good entertainment.
